Festival begins with a parade down Main Street on Thurs evening. Event includes craft show, carnival rides, concessions, family stage, beer tent with live bands, kiddie korner activities, petting zoo, and lots of sweet corn on Sat & Sun.

The Agora Art Fair will feature 85 local Wisconsin artisans in a variety of mediums exhibiting and selling their creations, live music, Capital Brewery Beer Garden, food pavilion, and Children’s Art Yard. The beautiful setting of the Agora and its native gardens, provide the perfect backdrop for this community event now in its 4th year. Paintings, photography, jewelry, mixed media, pottery, glass, fiber, wood, graphics, printmaking, and sculpture will be on display by artists such as Steve Kozar, Cassius Callender, Herb Johnson, Norma Hove, Margit Moses LeRoy Bayer, and Mark Pflughoeft. The Fitchburg Chamber of Commerce will host a Capital Brewery Beer Garden and wine bar, live music will fill the air throughout the day – West Side Andy (Blues), En Blas (Celtic), Oak Street Ramblers (Bluegrass), Cajun Strangers (Zydeco) and the Madison Flute Club. An expanded Fitchburg food promenade will feature Roman Candle, Liliana’s, Oasis Café/EVP, Yum Yum Ice Cream, and Buckhorn Kettlecorn. There will also be a Children’s Art Yard where kids can make their own artistic creations.
