Come and join the Friends of Mirror Lake and the State Park Staff for a fun filled evening. We will have an easy 1-mile torchlit Mystery hike for kids of all ages to enjoy. Follow the clues and help the Rangers discover our Mystery Guest! The Friends will have food, beverages and goodies for sale. Meet at the Beach Picnic Area.

Janesville Haunted Train Ride

Train Ride leaves approximately every 20 minutes. Train Ride is 15-20 minutes long through the Haunted Woods. The train ride is geared toward the younger children during the afternoon shows. Train is outside and is a coal-burning train, so please dress appropriately. Don’t wear light colored clothing as soot does collect on your clothing. Train Ride is Rain or Shine. Children’s Activities & Fall Goodies Concessions with Hot Cider, Hot Cocoa, Hot Dogs, Baked Goods and More. 2-4 pm- Spooky Halloween Train Ride-Less scary. Fewer ghouls and ghosts to scare you and the little ones. 4-7 pm- Haunted Train Ride- The monsters start to come out to scare you as you ride the train through the woods. 7-10 Haunted Train of Terror- After dark prepared to be scared. Not recommended for the faint of heart. Parental guidance is recommended.

Be inspired by the beauty of a crisp fall evening in Olbrich’s outdoor gardens. Watch the flames from bonfires dance on the Great Lawn, groove to live music, savor a variety of tasty foods from Food Fight restaurants, and sip frothy Wisconsin brews. Tickets are $15 for Olbrich members and $20 for the general public. A limited number of advance tickets are available. Food and beverages are an additional cost above ticket price. In case of inclement weather, CRACKLE will be held indoors.
