Day 91: Wisconsin Turkey & Deer Expo

Whether you are a hunter or just enjoy outdoor adventure, you will enjoy this yearly well-attended expo. Running Friday, April 1st through Sunday April 3rd with plenty of seminars, demonstrations, and many exhibitors who will have everything you need for your hunting or outdoor adventures, will be available for this 3-day event.

The expo also includes a whitetail buck trophy deer contest operated under the Boone and Crockett Club and Pope and Young Club scoring system, plus exhibits of deer hunting and turkey hunting equipment (firearms, black powder/muzzleloading, bowhunting) and accessories.

The accessories featured at the expo cover a wide range of hunting products and gear — hunting clothes, footwear, deer scents & lures, deer calls, turkey calls, deer feeds, food plot seeds and planting hardware, treestands, riflescopes and binoculars, maps, bowhunting equipment and accessories (broadheads, quivers, arrow rests, sights, releases), targets, deer and turkey decoys, ATVs and food plot prep accessories, GPS, wild foods cooking, hunting land for sale or lease, venison butchering, etc.

Additional exhibitors include whitetail deer hunting outfitters, elk/moose/sheep/mule deer/caribou outfitters, wildlife art, hunting books and deer hunting videos.

Special attractions include daily deer hunting and turkey hunting tips seminars, outdoor photo contest, trail camera photo contest, shooting ranges (airgun, archery, laser), Byron Ferguson’s archery trick shooting demonstrations, deer hunting equipment, Tech Information Center, deer skeleton display, flint knapping and other natural history items.

The Wisconsin Deer & Turkey Expo is held at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison.  Admission: $12 adults, kids 6-11 $4.
