Old Fashioned Festival

Dodgeville Blues Fest
Date: Saturday, July 23rd
Time: Noon – 10:30pm
Location: Downtown Dodgeville
Popular blues artists perform in a partially-tented area behind the County Courthouse. Maxwell Street Day sales. LINE-UP: Matt Hendricks, Dave Weld, David Antonio Herrero, Bill Howlin, Madd Perry & Alphonso Sanders. Admission $7; $5 (ages 12-21). Bring a lawn chair. We will have plenty of good food and drink for sale (no carry-ins). Handicap facilities available.

Sun Prairie Sale Days
Date(s): Friday, July 22nd – Saturday, July 23rd
Time: 9am-5pm
Location: Main Street, Sun Prairie
Area businesses will offer special in-store discounts to customers as well as sidewalk sale merchandise. The general time frame for the city-wide sale is 9am-5pm, but will vary with individual store hours. Browse historic downtown Sun Prairie for unique shops with sidewalk sales and values throughout the city. Plenty of free parking is available. Look for items such as garden supplies, bakery goods, gift items, and more. A list of participants can be found online or each participating business will have lists available at their store. Saturday a Flea market will take place.
Taste of Sun Prairie

A chance to sample various food specialties from Sun Prairie restaurants. Live music, kids activites and beer garden.

Dog Days of Summer
Date: Saturday, July 23rd
Time: 1-6pm
Location: Essen Haus/Come Back In, Downtown Madison
Madison’s Essen Haus and The Come Back In are hosting their first annual dog fest, The The event will be held in the parking lot of the Come Back In and Essen Haus and will feature live music, food, beer and soft drinks, and dogs, dogs, dogs and more.

Dane County Fair
Date(s): Thursday, July 21st – Sunday, July 24th
Location: Alliant Energy Center, Madison
Enjoy fabulous fair food, an interactive children’s petting zoo, carnival rides along with great entertainment. This annual Dane County event has something for everyone! Entertainment lineup to be announced. Admission: Ages 6-11, $3 per day or $6 Season, Adults 12 & over are $7 per day or $15 for season. Ages 5 & under are free.
